IDEATHON : (WiE Ideate)
27th March & 28th March
Consists of Two Stages :
1st STAGE – IDEA SUBMISSION :
The themes are released on 22th March 2022, and the participating teams will be required to submit a presentation detailing their idea pertaining to the theme selected by 9:00 pm, 27thMarch 2022. The form link for submissions will be shared.
2nd STAGE -IDEA PRESENTATION
The best entries will be shortlisted as per the judging criteria and will present their idea in front of a panel of judges on 28th March 2022 ,10am-12pm.
The final winners will be selected from these presentations.
The teams will be given 10 mins to present followed by2 mins QNA by the jury.
It is mandatory for all team members to be present during presentation.
TEAM SIZE :
There should be a minimum of 2and maximum of 4 members per group with at compulsory 50% of female members.
THEMES :
Themes will be released on 22th March 2022.
Presentation Requirements: The presentation must consist of a maximum of 10 slides, detailing the following –
• Problem statement to be chosen in relevance to the selected theme
• Effective and feasible solutions to solve the problem
• Roadmap of execution with supporting arguments of proof if any.
JUDGING CRITERIA :
Relevance of Problem Statement with Theme.
The Uniqueness of Idea (Creative Thinking).
Actionable Plan/ Roadmap of Execution.
Feasibility and Effectiveness of Solution.
Overall Presentation Skills.

- a) Smart Communication: Designing solutions which would help in easing communication channels between various communication devices and points.
- b) Healthcare & Biomedical devices: Designing solutions that would help in managing healthcare better.
- c) Agriculture & Rural Development: Designing solutions keeping in mind the need to enhance the primary sector of India – Agriculture and the lives of our Rural Population.
- d) Smart Vehicles: Creating intelligent solutions to improve commutation facilities,quality of travel experience and overall travel safety features hardware.
- e) Food Processing: Creating state of art solutions to manage and process our agriculture produce.
- f) Robotics and Drones: There is a need design drones and robots that can solve some of the pressing challenges of India such as handling medical emergencies, search and rescue operations, etc.
- g) Waste management: Solutions could be in the form of waste segregation, disposal, and improved transportation system.
- h) Clean water: Creating state-of-the-art solutions to improve distribution, management and purification of water.
- i) Renewable Energy: Innovative ideas that help manage and generate renewable sources more efficiently.
- j) Security & Surveillance: Creating state-of-the-art safety and security technologies for India.
- k) Miscellaneous: Technology ideas in tertiary sectors like Hospitality, Financial
Services, Entertainment, Tourism and Retail.
